A Prayerful Heart

Hi everyone-

Blogging has been something that has been on my life/bucket list for quite some time.  I just figured that no one wants to hear about an ordinary mom who has a lot of the same problems that other people do, such as how to pay for gas at $3.89 a gallon or how to serve healthy meals on a budget?  I have spent many hours in prayer asking God this question "Why blog"?  Who wants to hear my story?  Well I finally heard the message that God has been trying to smack me up side the head (not literally) with and that message is "It's not the ordinary mom I want you to talk about but the Extraordinary God that she is running after".  DUH! as most kids say.  So I want to blog to encourage and lift up others with God's word as my foundation.
Today I want to discuss prayer as prayer led me to this blog.   Funny thing my friend has a blog that I love to read especially since they have been called to serve in a church and her blog today was about prayer and it spoke volumes to me.
I truly believe in what prayer can bring to people's lives.  I believe that we all have struggles and situations that occur in our lives.  It is what we do with those struggles and situations that matters.  Do we give into them?  Do we become a victim?  Do we waller in pity?  Do we let it defeat us and cause us to doubt?  Do we go around daily with a hardened heart?  Do we keep our guard up and refuse to let others in?  Do we pray and ask for God's guidance?  Do we wait to hear God's wisdom or do we try to handle things our own way?    I know lots of questions to think about and answer.

I will go into more detail tomorrow about how we can pray and how we should pray.   May God Bless you.  Warmly, Dana Krebsbach
